The French Football Thread
This week, we’re visiting Samoth, who is managing Lille in 2016/2017. Lille are now a real dominant force in European and World football, and Samoth brought in Gonzalo Higuain for a measly (sarcasm intended) Ł27M. Lille then absolutely stormed their way through the season, winning the Euro Super Cup, French Champions Trophy, Ligue 1, the Club World Cup, the Coupe de la Ligue, the French Cup, and they also beat Manchester City on penalties to win the Champions League. This meant they won every competition they entered.

2017/2018 had similar successes. Once again, they won the Champions Trophy, the Euro Super Cup and the Club World Cup. Along with another Ligue 1 title, the Coupe de la Ligue and the Champions League. All together, 13 trophies in two seasons.

The Club and Country Thread
We go to a save of my own now, in the Club and Country thread. I posted a very big 10 season update of my time in the save, with country Congo and club side Etoile du Congo. On average, we win something every two seasons, a big difference to Samoth who, in two seasons, won 13 trophies. Congo are currently top of their World Cup Qualifying group with a game to go, and have already qualified for the next stage.

All in all, a quiet week for the Your Game community. No doubt interest will pick up when FM12 is released, and I’ll be following the threads along the way.
