In the next video blog, we're going international. Miles elaborates on the effects of picking or not picking a specific player, while the press puts on the pressure with over interest on pickings and how you deal with injuries. So good communication skills when addressing the press are important, which also goes for your communication with the squad. So it's pressure all the way, which seems to make international management something to work towards instead of picking it from the get go.

Dani Alves is the obvious comparison, with his fantastic pace, crossing ability and off the ball stats. Becomes basically the perfect attacking right back. Get him at the start of the game and by the time he is 21 you be reaping the rewards for the long term.

If you fancy trying before you buy, Romario is usually available for loan at the start of the game. If you're managing in Europe, I see no reason why a loan deal would not be possible. You may have to wait until he is 18 though.

You're clutching at straws when trying to find a weakness to Yann M'Vila. It's not until you really look at his attributes that you realise just how good this kid is, and can be.

Listed as a "wonderkid" at the start of the game, M'Vila will cost you a fair few English pounds. But he'll probably be worth it. His personality is "resilient", but with those mental attributes, tutoring won't be neccessary.

Listed as "Fairly Professional", Coeff will be hard to tutor, but with mental attributes like his, you can be reasonably assured of them improving on their own.

He hasn't disappointed for a minute. Saved us a lot of point at both sides, by proper defending and scoring quite the number of goals on corners.

In the second season I started to play him differently and put Lukaku at his position with corners, so his goal tally went down dramatically. Nonetheless he is still keeping up his solid performance as defender.

At the end of his second season with the club he aided us in securing the title, snapped up Belgian Professional Player of the Year award, Belgian Pro League best average rating award and was shortlisted for the Belgian Golden Boot award.

He can be employed as a winger, or an inside forward meaning that giving him freedom will most certainly prove a wise choice as he can really take advantage of the space in the far end of the pitch. He can create chances by pulling players out of position, but can also be useful when on the receiving end of a killer ball.
This guy a definite all-rounder as can be evidenced from both his attributes and positions he can play. He can be employed as a defensive midfilder, attacking midfielder or even winger, but he excels in a deep-lying playmaker role. He is great at dictating play and connecting the middle with the attack. He will not go forward often, but can be very useful even in the box. When he gets the ball you know that he will do something useful with it, be it a dribble, a through ball or even a long shot. He is especially useful as a spring board for counter attacks, as he has the ability to hide the ball from the opposition, wait for his team-mates to take their positions and then employ a deadly pass. Highly professional and a great team player – this lad will most definitely not let you down.

Having not made any appearances for the Ivory Coast, gaining one will be hard for teams that play in a eague where work permits are a requirement.

Somehow considered a backup to the first team, so get in quick and you'll get him very cheaply.

He's young and can still improve, but move quick. Teams are after him straight away.

I would fully expect to see Ruiz's value continue to rise and already in my save (Jan 2011) Jose Mourinho is making comments about his ability (Hands off Jose). At the very least I would say I'll make a substantial profit on Ruiz (I wouldnt consider selling him for less then 25 million), but I would like to keep him around as I believe he could be come a great player for my team.

If you're playing a system with wingers and are maybe struggling creativity wise I would definitely reccoment Ruiz. Give him the ball and watch him fly

As it seems with most goalkeepers, it's all opinion what is the good and the bad with them. To me rushing out can be very important to stopping a lot of goals. The low work rate and determination aren't overly exciting, worrying he might slack off sometimes. The bravery isn't bad, but I'd like it to be higher so he'll be more willing to go fight for the ball on a corner, or try to take the ball off the strikers feet in a 1-on-1 situation.

Overall though, he looks really good for a 20 year old, that been trained only by the AI for now. He may of been tutored though, but not sure. I'd be curious to see how he looks at the beginning of games if anyone has a picture. Anyways, he is currently a wonderkid, loved by my coaches and scouts, and if you can get lucky enough to get him on the cheap, he looks like he could become a great goalkeeper in the future.

This guy has caught my attention since the 11.3 patch came out. I’ve started three games since then and he has gone to reasonable clubs in each one.

In my Lens save he went to Toulouse for £1.8M where he finished equal top scorer in Ligue 1 with 15 goals at the end of the 2010/11 season.

In my Journeyman save he went to Rubin Kazan for £1.8M in the middle of their (Jan-Dec) season and he has 6 goals in 16 games.

In my Chelsea save he went to Arsenal for £1.9M, but has only made a couple of appearances by December 2010.

I had a peek in the editor and he doesn’t have a random CA/PA, although just a couple of his attributes are random.

Now I haven’t managed him myself, but he looks good in the air and he plays well as a lone striker.

Arsenal may be step too high for him, but he seems to be a mid-Premiership team type of player and he should be worth the effort to sign. Seeing as Arsenal got him it seems that a work permit shouldn’t be an issue.

I will follow him on my saves and update his abilities as I progress further.

His stats aren't the greates either but he plays well above what his stats suggest. I have signed him in every previous fm's and has been the same, had to wait for his loan to finish in this one but he still amazes me. Second season he played 33, scored 15, assisted 7 and got 11 MoM awards, with a rating of 7.80. In his final season there he played 33, scored 16, assisted 11 and got 12 MoM awards, with a rating of 7.82. Now since joining Madrid he has played 13, scored 4, assisted 9 and got 3 MoM awards with a rating of 8.12. Even ignoring that, look at his goddamn stats! This guy in my opinion could be THE player of FM11. He is fantastic just behind the front man/men and could be a superstar for any club with enough cash to sign him. A regular for South Africa, a work permit should be no problem.

At 28 Casey is by no means a youngster, but could nevertheless be a good bargain at just over £1m for a mid-range European club looking for a reliable target man. Adept either as a lone frontman or working alongside a speedier partner, Casey will run around for the cause, holds the ball up well, but also weighs in with his share of goals - although putting the goalscoring burden entirely on his shoulders may be a mistake.

His wage demands will likely not exceed £10,000-15,000 a week and there is a chance a British club could secure a work permit for him on appeal.

A commanding and intelligent defensive midfielder who can also play at the back, Araujo is already a Mexican international and may possibly get a work permit. Primarily used in the so-called 'Makelele' role, Araujo has many similarities to the man himself in terms of reading the game, positioning and distribution. He is ideally suited to the defensive midfield role and can play a little further forward, but when using him as a central defender be aware of his lack of height and poor jumping ability.

Another way in which Araujo mirrors Makelele is his goalscoring record - do not expect him to pop up at the sharp end. His wage demands will likely be around £20,000 a week and he should be available for transfer for about £5 million.

Some intensive training on certain parts of his game, and he'll become one of the brightest players to leave Brazil for a while. At 24, he can still improve and could be your number one striker for 7 or 8 years.
